 HBC-PC120

What Is the HBC-PC120?

The HBC-PC120 is a compact, economical busbar machine that performs every bus bar operation — and cable work — one at a time on a single power pack, simply by swapping heads. As a portable workshop busbar machine, it’s built for shops and job sites that need flexibility without a large footprint. Think of it as a portable, economical “baby HBC-A120”: the same core capability, scaled down into an economical busbar machine that’s easy to move and easy to justify.

Cut, Punch and Bend Copper & Aluminum Busbars

The HBC-PC120 that machine is part of our  economical busbar machines lineup. handles all three core bus bar operations — cutting, punching and bending — on copper and aluminum up to 120 × 12 mm. Punching uses circle dies from M6 to M18, with oval and rectangle dies available as an option. An electronic bender controller with a high-accuracy encoder keeps bend angles consistent piece after piece.

Five Interchangeable Heads, Changed in Seconds

One machine, five quick-change heads: cutting, punching, bending, cable crimping and cable cutting. A hand-wheel raises and lowers the bus bar axis to seat each head correctly. The fast tool-change design means moving from one operation to the next takes only seconds — so a single compact unit does the work of several machines.

INTRODUCTION

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Cable Crimping and Cable Cutting

Two of the five heads take the HBC-PC120 beyond bus bars: it crimps cables up to 300 mm² (spec table below lists 240 mm² — please confirm) and cuts cable up to 240 mm². That makes it the only machine in the range to handle both bus bar prep and cable work in one unit. For contractors who do both jobs, that’s a direct saving in floor space and equipment cost.

Everything the HBC-PC120 Does, Head by Head

Across its five quick-change heads, the HBC-PC120 covers a full range of bus bar and cable operations on one hydraulic base unit:

  • Busbar cutting head — cuts copper and aluminum bus bars up to 120 × 12 mm
  • Busbar punching head — punches with circle dies from M6 to M18 (oval/rectangle optional), aided by a laser center finder for precise positioning
  • Busbar bending head — bends with an electronic controller and high-accuracy encoder for repeatable bend angles
  • Cable crimping head — crimps cable up to 300 mm² (confirm: spec table shows 240 mm²)
  • Cable cutting head — cuts cable up to 240 mm²HBC-PC120 Specifications

HBC-PC120 Specifications

Two figures below still need sign-off before this goes live: cable crimping capacity (300 mm² vs. 240 mm²) and operating pressure (200 bar vs. 150 bar), since the body copy and the previous spec sheet don’t agree.

Compact, single-phase and priced to compete, the HBC-PC120 is an economical busbar machine for shops that need bus bar and cable capability without investing in several separate machines. Request a quote or download the full catalog to get exact pricing and lead times.

FAQ's

Frequently asked questions

Can the HBC-PC120 cut, punch and bend?

Yes — all three on copper and aluminum bus bars up to 120 × 12 mm, one at a time by changing the head.

Five interchangeable heads: cutting, punching, bending, cable crimping and cable cutting — each changed in seconds.

Yes — it crimps cable up to 300 mm² and cuts cable up to 240 mm² with its dedicated cable heads. (Crimping figure pending final confirmation.)

Yes — a compact 100 × 120 × 101 cm footprint and single-phase 220 V power make it suitable for small workshops and on-site work.

No — it runs on standard single-phase 220 V / 50 Hz power, so no three-phase supply is required.
