PAYAPRESS grows its global network; this time in New Zealand
Switchboard builders and electrical manufacturers across New Zealand now have direct local access to PAYAPRESS machinery, tooling, and engineering support.
Dubai, UAE, September 26, 2026 – PAYAPRESS, a manufacturer of busbar processing and metalworking machinery, has appointed a local representative in New Zealand. The appointment extends the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region and marks a further step in its international development.
The expansion comes as electrical infrastructure investment accelerates across New Zealand, where grid renewal, renewable generation, and the rapid build-out of data centers are driving sustained demand for switchboards, distribution equipment, and the busbar components they are built on.
New Zealand is entering a period of renewed economic momentum. The New Zealand Treasury projects GDP growth of 2.3 percent in 2026/27 and 3.2 percent in 2027/28, and the OECD has named faster electrification as a priority for the country’s competitiveness. For local panel builders and electrical equipment makers, that points to rising workloads and a need for dependable production capacity close to home.

The new representative will provide New Zealand customers with local support for machine selection, quotations, commissioning, tooling, and spare parts.
