The HBC-A160 is a 3-in-1 busbar processing machine that cuts, punches, and bends copper and aluminum busbars up to 160 × 15 mm in a single station. Designed for switchgear assemblers, panel builders, and distribution-board manufacturers, it features three independent hydraulic power packs (7 kW total at 230 bar), enabling three simultaneous operations with up to three independent operators.

While one bar is being bent, another is punched, and a third is cut — this parallel workflow eliminates station bottlenecks and triples throughput within a single, compact footprint. In effect, the HBC-A160 delivers the output and efficiency of a three-station production line without the added floor space.

Copper 160 × 15 mm Without Machine Swaps

The HBC-A160 busbar machine handles everything from 15–160 mm width and up to 15 mm thickness in both copper and aluminum. The double-acting hydraulic system at 230 bar ensures clean punches (Ø4.5–20 mm), precise cuts, and reliable die release every stroke, making material swaps and machine changeovers unnecessary.

The HBC-A160 handles busbars up to 160 × 15 mm in copper or aluminum, punching holes from Ø4.5 to 20 mm with hole-spacing accuracy held to ±0.1 mm. Power comes from three independent hydraulic packs totaling 7 kW at 230 bar, all managed through a Siemens PLC with dual HMI stations so up to three operators can run cutting, punching, and bending at the same time without stepping on each other’s workflow. At 900 kg and mounted on a wheel base, it’s solid enough for continuous production yet mobile enough to reposition as your layout changes.
